چکیده
In order to improve the feasibility of low-elevation height measurement for meter-wave multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar, a virtual sub-array-level beam splitting algorithm is proposed. The can solve coherence problems caused by low-angle multipath reflection, target reflection wave and direct coupling, quickly measure low elevation angle on flat ground, then obtain through geometric relationship. First, establish an error graph in advance according radar frequency, antenna coefficient; combine nine channels three-element MIMO into three channels; use phase difference between adjacent perform encoding confirm range; calculated amplitude value compared with curve diagram established angle; finally, data obtained signal model formula under complex terrain are finally derived. simulation verifies accuracy superiority proposed ground undulating ground.

The SAAB REX WaveRadar sensor is widely-used for platform-based wave measurement systems by the offshore oil and gas industry. It offers in-situ surface elevation wave measurements at relatively low operational costs. Furthermore, there is adequate flexibility in sampling rates, allowing in principle sampling frequencies from 1 Hz to 10 Hz, but with an angular microwave beam width of 10 degrees...
متن کاملAdaptive Beam-Frequency Allocation Algorithm with Position Uncertainty for Millimeter-Wave MIMO Systems
Envisioned for fifth generation (5G) systems, millimeter-wave (mmWave) communications are under very active research worldwide. Although pencil beams with accurate beamtracking may boost the throughput of mmWave systems, this poses great challenges in the design of radio resource allocation for highly mobile users. In this paper, we propose a joint adaptive beam-frequency allocation algorithm t...
متن کاملPower Allocation Strategies for MIMO Radar Waveform Design
The role of waveform design is central to effective radar resource management for state-of-the art radar systems. The waveform shape employed by any radar system has always been a key factor in determining the performance and application. The design of radar waveform to minimize mean square error (MSE) in estimating the target impulse response is based on power allocation using waterfilling. ...
متن کاملJoint Smoothed l0-Norm DOA Estimation Algorithm for Multiple Measurement Vectors in MIMO Radar
Direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation is usually confronted with a multiple measurement vector (MMV) case. In this paper, a novel fast sparse DOA estimation algorithm, named the joint smoothed l 0 -norm algorithm, is proposed for multiple measurement vectors in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar. To eliminate the white or colored Gaussian noises, the new method first obtains a low-comp...
متن کاملMeasurement of ocean wave height and direction by means of HF radar: an empirical approach
High-frequency (HF) radars have been used since 20 years for remotely sensing ocean surface currents and ocean waves. Backscattered Doppler spectra contain two discrete lines, the frequencies of which (Bragg frequency) determine the current speed, and four continuous side bands, which allow to apply inversion techniques for retrieving ocean wave spectra. Recently, a new HF radar has been develo...
